Oral translation

Oral translation is probably the most difficult one. Because you will not have helpers: books you can refer to, technical devices or team’s help. Therefore experience plays an important role here. The Mankent Company easily copes with this task thanks to this.

Oral translation can be conditionally divided into several main areas:

  • organization of events;
  • simultaneous translation of the speaker into one language;
  • consecutive translation;
  • making available a personal interpreter;
  • services of guide-interpreter;
  • interpretation over the phone or via Skype;

We have mentioned only a few categories. Interpretation at big events is perhaps most complicated. However, experienced specialists cope with it quite well.

An interpreter should both speak the language fluently and have broad-based knowledge, good ears and clear articulation. He or she should be quick to understand the client and convey the message in an easily accessible form.

The translation of audio/video products can be assumed as part of the oral translation. It is quite a large sphere in art. Translating folk wisdom and conveying its flavor, uttered by a movie character, is a challenging but interesting task. Some clients order written translation of a video film for subtitles. Sometimes there is a need for a person with a trained voice and diction in order to do audio translation. Obviously such translation is meant for cultural development of a person. At present many documents are recorded on disks and there are many archived data.

Archives need not only to be accurately translated but also restored. And this requires a lot of painstaking work. But in return, restored documents can speak about many things.
